Parker Institute To Present Multidisciplinary Course: “Care Of The Performing Voice: De-Catastrophizing Vocal Injury”

The Parker Institute, in conjunction with Weill Cornell’s Center for the Performing Artist, will present a course devoted to examination of vocal injuries in performers, on July 6, 2016 in New York City. New data concerning injury and treatment, much of it from the Parker Institute’s own investigations, will be presented, as well as perspectives from voice trainers and performers themselves. The course precedes the Performing Arts Medicine Association’s annual meeting, which also takes place on campus at Weill Cornell.

Parker Institute To Occupy New Space In Fall 2016

Weill Cornell Medicine and the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery are constructing new space for the clinical programs of the Parker Institute, on East 59th St. in New York City. Opening is planned for the fall of 2016.
