Laryngologist Anaïs Rameau, MD MPhil, joins Institute Faculty

Anaïs Rameau, MD MPhil, fellowship trained in laryngology with special expertise in swallowing disorders, has joined the faculty of the Sean Parker Institute.  Dr. Rameau, a board certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon, completed residency at Stanford University and fellowship training at UC Davis, under the mentorship of Peter Belafsky, MD PhD. She has advanced expertise in the evaluation and treatment of swallowing disorders, encompassing upper esophageal sphincter dysfunction, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, esophageal stenosis, esophageal dysmotility, Zenker’s diverticulum and dysphagia related to head and neck and thoracic radiation. Dr. Rameau will develop the swallowing disorders component of laryngology at the Institute, including clinical care and research.  She also has specialized training in the management of chronic cough, benign diseases and malignant tumors of the larynx, airway stenosis and voice disorders.
