April 16 is World Voice Day, a global event to focus attention on the voice and its importance in all of our lives. In celebration of World Voice Day, the Sean Parker Institute for the Voice has teamed up with the Actors' Equity Foundation to offer a free seminar on vocal health for performers. The course, aimed at actors and presented by the Institute's team of laryngologists and voice specialists, covers a range of topics in vocal health, including voice care and injury prevention, as well as an overview of vocal fold injury and its repair. Following the course, free voice examinations will be offered at the Institute for a limited number of course attendees.
