The 2023 Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meetings, held in Boston May 3-7, saw Sean Parker Institute Director Lucian Sulica, MD lead as President of the American Laryngological Association, and Sean Parker Institute faculty Babak Sadoughi, MD and Anaïs Rameau, MD inducted as Fellows of that same organization. Eleven institute projects were presented at the meeting, covering a number of ongoing lines of investigation at the Institute. These included singers' return to performance after vocal cord surgery, advances in machine learning and AI in laryngeal diagnostics, the use of virtual reality in pain control, training simulators for vocal fold injection, and other clinically relevant topics.
